orris

...(E)=root of iris(E)=oreys/oris/arras, unexplained alt. of iris. arras(OE)=ar/tli ras/as/tl (Letra)=atliatl(N)=bigote(sp)= whiskers/moustache, i.e., there being bearded iris, e.g., Titan's Glory of deep blue with a slight red beard falling. a truly red beard appears unattainable. the most common iris, Germanica, is purple/blue. iris/arras/atliatl(Nauatl)named from bearded iris lily=tlilli(N)=black, e.g., nilli=Nile(river=ieuli), named for dark blue lillies. .....shobu(Japanese)=iris/victory or defeat,=xaya potli(N)=both faces, but always valiant= atliatl(N)=v/at/lia(n)t/l(Letra)=valiant(E). .....parallel root=alti/oatlic(N)=drink water,=o(a)r/t/l/r is/c(Letra)=orris(E). oatlic(N), preterit of atli(N) is where orris/oris gets its Oo. .....e.g., Adirondak=Atli-on-tlaca(N)=dag(Turkish)=drinking on the mountain, i.e., there are springs all along the Adirondaks. .....asphodel/daffodil(N)=tlaoppailpilli(N/adj.v.)=tied, tied again/twice-tied,=oppailpia(N)=tie something again/volver a atar/anudar(sp). the floret of asphodel/daffodil is double. breeders have developed double, triple, multiple layers/rows.
